Station 07 Penang - Day Two

Unlike the tense of searching the street artworks yesterday, today is more chill and relax. I will not only walk around in the city center of Georgetown but also the famous Kek Lok Si Temple near the airport.

Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion
Address: Lot 22, 14, Lebuh Leith, George Town, 10200 George Town, Pulau Pinang
Operating time: 11:00, 13:30, 15:00
Entrance ticket: RM16
It is one of the Georgetown UNESCO Historic Sites. There are three slots of heritage tours offered every day, tour guides offer services in English. Tours start at 11am, 1.30pm and 3pm. The admission fee is RM16 per person. Plus, part of the mansion has changed to hotel rooms.






Kek Lok Si
Address: Kek Lok Si Temple, 11500 Air Itam, Penang
Operating time: 08:30, 15:30
A Buddhist temple in Air Itam, Penang. It is the largest Buddhist temple in Malaysia. Variety types of flowers everywhere, and they are so beautiful.






Other than city views, todays food hunting is awesome.

Toh Soon Café
Address: 140-184 Lebuh Campbell, Georgetown, 10200 Pulau Pinang
Operating time: 06:30
Highlights: Open very early and always has long queue. Get up early!!!

China House
Address: 153, Beach St, Georgetown, 10300 George Town, Penang
Operating time: 10:30 – 23:30
Highlights: This is the best cake I ever tried!
                                   

New Siam Road Char Koay Teow
Address: 82, Jalan Siam, George Town, 10400 George Town, Pulau Pinang
Operating time: 12:00 – 18:00, Monday closed
Highlights: Best char koay teow in town, no, in Malaysia
                                  

I am satisfied of today’s trip! Also, I literally ate too much these days. Thinking of losing weight now.
