Station 03 Cameron Highlands
It was a nice weekend, and I went to buy groceries yesterday. While standing in
front of the shelf, I realized that I have not seen strawberries for quite a long
time. As a huge fan of sweet fruits, you
cannot miss this deliciated taste. However, the price is too expensive and
there is no promotion. I texted my friend to complained about it, then she asked
me: “Do you know Cameron Highlands?”
It
is new to me, so I went back and did some research. Turns out, it is actually a
famous tourist spot, known for cool weather, orchards, nurseries, farmlands
together with numerous natural landscapes. From last month, I have visited the
modern city, Kuala Lumpur, and the historical city, Malacca, it is time to explore the
mother nature!
Same
as Malacca, I decided to take a bus to go to Cameron Highlands. A similar routine
here, packed my bags and went to Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS), purchased
the ticket at the counter and jumped into the bus. After around 3.5 hours, here
I am, Cameron Highlands!

I
decided to take a rest at the famous Cameron Valley Tea House first, enjoy the
chill temperature and nice cup of tea. The location of the Tea House is excellent,
I can view the entire green tea gardens from the glass windows while sitting inside.
The scones I ordered is a little bit sweet but make a perfect match with the
black tea.

Yes,
this is the tea plantation, together with an educational center & tours of
the processing facility. I was amazed by the natural view that I cannot think
of any words to describe. I kept taking pictures and videos. Although it is a
tea plantation, still want to say how grateful is mother nature.

I
was glad to find out that there is a lavender garden in Cameron Highlands. I do
adore the nice smell of the lavenders, thus I decided to go inside to have a
look. I was shocked that it does not only has lavender, but also with variety
types of flowers. It is overwhelming, and some of them I cannot even say their
names. Anyway, this is definitely worth the ticket.

I
was really satisfied with what I has seen in Lavender Garden, however, do not
forget why I am here. Here goes my last stop of Cameron Highlands, the
strawberry farm! This is the heaven of strawberries lovers, customers can pick
up fresh strawberries as they wish, try the taste on spot, an also buy the
strawberries products. I bought the strawberries, had the strawberry desserts
there, and I do not want to leave.

Despite
how I like Cameron Highlands, I have to take the bus to go back. I started to
miss here before I leave. What a nice day! I will definitely go back here to visit
again!
