Station 01 Kuala Lumpur - Day Two
Wrapped up a day of historical journey in Kuala Lumpur City, my second day is more about cultures, plus delicious foods and beverages! Since KL Hop-on Hop-off City Tour ticket is only valid for 24 hours, I choose LRT as my transportation for today’s trip.

The first stop I chose was Central
Market, the most familiar landmarks and popular tourist attractions. It is the
center for Malaysian cultures, arts and crafts. Take LRT to Station Pasar Seni,
and walk for around 10 minutes, here it is. There are more than 300 shops and restaurants,
I can stay here for hours to buy souvenirs and arts crafts. Foods there are
also good to try.
Sri Mahamariaman Temple
Address: Jalan Tun H S Lee,
City Centre, 50000 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur

to Thursday) 06:00 – 21:30 (Friday) 06:00 – 21:00 (Saturday)

Just a few minutes of walk from
Central Markt, here is Sri Mahamariaman Temple, an Indian temple in Kuala
Lumpur. It is the oldest Hindu temple in Kuala Lumpur, which was founded in
1873. It is also the largest Hindu temple in Malaysia. The decorations are amazing.
Here are small tips for visitors, proper dress is required, and need to prepare
cash to store shoes.
Sri Mahamariaman Temple
China Town
Address: 37, Jalan Petaling,
City Centre, 50000 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur
Operation time: 12:00 – 24:00
Visited Sri Mahamariaman Temple to
enjoy Hindu culture, while my next stop is China Town, to explore old fashioned
Chinese culture. Walking about 3
minutes, I have reached China Town. As a matter of fact, I was disappointed that it
is not as authentic as I imagined, but the foods there are too good that I cannot stop
eating. There are so many decent restaurants and cafes here, I can only choose
some of them to try, otherwise, my stomach cannot handle. Other than foods,
there are tourist attractions and shops worth visiting also.

Get off at Station Plaza Rakyat and
walk for 850 m to GMBB, Bukit Bintang. It is a building that offers art and
creative workshops and exhibitions. There are many rooms open for the public to
demonstrate the artworks, also have stalls to sell art crafts and products.

I selected Pavilion as the last station
of today’s trip. Take LRT to Station Bukit Bintang, and walk around 3 minutes,
I have reached the famous high-end shopping mall in Malaysia, Pavilion Kuala
Lumpur. There are over 700 retail outlets and restaurants, I can enjoy foods,
shopping here, and also, I can watch a movie in the movie theaters inside.
Tokyo
Milk Cheese Factory
Time flies so fast that I have
finished my two days trip in Kuala Lumpur. I would miss these tourist attractions
and foods. Let’s move to the next station of my trip in Malaysia.
